Easy Banana Oat Bars GUEST BLOG

Katie made this with some bananas that were turning. It from a blogger THELEANGREENBEAN.  They came out pretty good and were with ingredients we had on hand!




  • 3 small ripe bananas
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 24 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  1. Mash bananas in a bowl.
  2. Add oats, peanut butter, maple syrup and egg and mix well.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and stir until combined.
  4. Pour into a 9×9 (or 8×8) baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes.
  6. Let cool, cut and serve.
