Daphne Oz made this on The Chew --looked so simple --that anyone could do it especially with a premade crust --BUT ALAS - NO !!! I am a terrible baker --sauce oozed all over out of crust --the flavor was great if you don't look closely at the edges! Posting both pictures for you to see. 1 pound cherries (stems and pits removed) 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice 1/2 teaspoon orange zest 3 tablespoons cornstarch 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 pinch salt 1 recipe Carla’s Perfect Pie Crust (http://abc.go.com/shows/the-chew/recipes/carla-hall-pie-crust) (or 1 store-bought pie crust) all-purpose (flour for dusting) 2 tablespoons orange marmalade (plus 1 tablespoon water) 1 tablespoon turbinado sugar vanilla ice cream (to serve) Preheat oven to 400??F. In a large bowl, add the cherries, orange juice, zest, cornstarch, sugar and a pinch of salt, and mix thoroughly to combine.
