Improved Whiskey Cocktail

Again from The Bourbon Bartender book -- we have decided we need to work our way through all these recipes! My dad used to call the 'rocks' glasses ---serious drinking glasses!

2 oz bourbon
1/4 oz maraschino liqueur ( Luxardo)
8 drops of absinthe
2 dashes of Angosturo bitters
Lemon for garnish

Stir in a mixing glass filled with ice and then strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. If you don't have a dropper then rinse glass with a dash of absinthe. Garnish with a lemon twist.
