MAX Ristorante Positano Italy Restaurant Review

Another fabulous restaurant in Positano. It is right on the walking path down to the beach. It is very 'artsy' and we went here on a rainy day for lunch. When dining in the US we rarely start talking to all our neighbors but in Positano we met some of the nicest couples and talked about where they had traveled as well as what they ordered and where else they ate. This meal was delicious but a bit pricey for lunch but then again in Italy no meal is less than 2 hours so you are paying for the entertainment of spending the afternoon ...

The wine library in one of the dining rooms....so much wine so little time!
They make all fresh  pasta and have a display tray out for you to see their work
Kevin's spaghetti and  'wild' clams --the shell size of nickels and very tender
Ha I ordered the better meal !! This was cheese and eggplant filled tortellini with fried eggplant pieces and a simple tomato sauce --it was so good!
Since the Amalfi Coast it known for its lemons --how could we not order this lemon cake and mousse dessert --it was so light I am sure it was calorie free!
