Cinnamon Babka French Toast

Finally using the Cinnamon Babka Bread from the freezer and found recipe from MYRECIPES.com. I thought it was delicious and easy to do - also I could have probably halved all the ingredients and still had plenty of mixture to dip into. No syrup was necessary and we loved the fresh strawberries with it. It like eating a fabulous cinnamon roll!

    • Whisk together half-and-half, eggs, and vanilla in a shallow dish. Dip babka slices in half-and-half mixture.

    • Melt 2 tablespoons of the butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium. Add 2 coated babka slices, and cook until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate, and cover to keep warm. Repeat procedure 3 times with remaining babka slices and butter. If desired, drizzle French toast with maple syrup, and serve with fruit.
