Air Fryer Broccoli Parmesan

From a blogger I would do this recipe again but I found after 5 minutes broccoli was too hard for my liking --added 4 more minutes and you can see it was then a little over - Kevin loved it - next time I will only do 2 minutes extra. I also did a little lemon juice over it before serving it brightens the flavor a lot.

  • 1 small head of broccoli, chopped into florets
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup grated fresh parmesan cheese (more for topping, if desired)
  • Optional : chili flakes for garnish

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 180C / 360F.
  2. In a bowl, mix the garlic, olive oil and parmesan cheese.
  3. Add the broccoli to the bowl.
  4. Use a spatula to mix it in, ensuring each floret is coated with the mixture. You want to make sure every bit of garlic and cheese is pressed into the nooks and crannies of the broccoli florets. This will help avoid it from falling off in the air fryer.
  5. Place the broccoli florets in the basket. If you like, you could sprinkle some extra cheese on top now. (I didn't in the broccoli photographed)
  6. Air fry for 3 to 5 minutes, until they are the desired crispiness.
  7. Sprinkle chili flakes on top for garnish, if desired.
