GUEST BLOG - Basil Aioli

 My sister in law Andrea served this recipe from ALLRECIPES with a beautiful crudité tray. I think it would be great on a grilled chicken sandwich or salad as well!

1 clove garlic

1/4 t kosher salt

1 c fresh basil leaves , washed

1 c mayonnaise

2 T EVOO

1 T Dijon mustard

1 T water

1/2 t freshly squeezed lemon juice 

Chop the garlic with the salt then use the flat side of a knife to mash it into a paste.

In a blender at the garlic paste, with the remaining ingredients  and process until smooth.

Transfer to a bowl, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
