Teriyaki Burgers

We have been making this recipe for over a decade now and I was shocked to find that I had never blogged it!! Such a family favorite!!


1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger, peeled
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 clove garlic, minced

Combine all ingredients in a bowl.  Divide beef mixture into 4 or more patties.  1/2 inch thick.  Prepare grill.  Place patties on grill rack Cook 4 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.

Yields 4 or more servings depending on your choice of size.
