Portobello Mushroom Burger

 From DELISH you almost wouldn't miss the beef -- it is a delicious meaty substitute! We added cheese and garnish with everything you love!

  • 4 

    large portobello mushrooms, stems and gills removed

  • 1/3 c. 

    extra-virgin olive oil

  • 1 tbsp. 

    Worcestershire sauce (or low-sodium soy sauce)

  • 1 tsp. 

    garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp. 

    ground mustard

  • 4 

    brioche buns, for serving

  • Honey mustard, for serving

  • Bibb lettuce, for serving

  • Tomato slices, for serving


  1. Preheat oven to 375°. In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, Worcestershire, garlic powder, and mustard powder. 
  2. Step 2Brush mushroom caps in the mixture and place mushrooms stem side down on a baking sheet. Bake until softened, 15-20 minutes. 
  3. Step 3Serve on brioche buns with desired toppings.
