Mignonette Sauce

From Epicurious 1964! To be served with oysters! The red topping is my Tito's Tabasco Sorbet -also blogged awhile back.




1 tsp coarsely ground white or black peppercorns (vary amount according to taste)
1/2 cup white or red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons finely chopped shallots or sweet onions
Salt to taste
Combine and serve with oysters.
