Dead Sea Mule
From Liquor.com this was a fun alternative to make with Pom juice. As you can see I left the garnish off ( ...again).
2 oz mezcal
3/4 oz lime juice
1 oz pomegranate grenadine *
5 oz ginger beer
mint sprig, garnish
candied ginger, garnish
Add mezcal, lime juice and grenadine into a Collins glass with ice.

Add mezcal, lime juice and grenadine into a Collins glass with ice.
Top with ginger beer.
Garnish with mint sprig and 2 skewered pieces of candied ginger.
*Grenadine: Heat mix of pomegranate juice and cane sugar in 3:2 ratio by weight just below boiling. Remove from heat when sugar dissolves and let cool. Store in refrigerator up to 3 weeks.
