Vieux Carré: A NOLA Original

  • 3/4 oz. Rye whiskey (such as Sazerac)
  • 3/4 oz. Cognac (such as Pierre Ferrand 1840 Original Formula)
  • 3/4 oz. Sweet vermouth
  • 2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1/2 oz. Benedictine
  • Garnish: Lemon twist
  • PREPARATION


    1. Add all the ingredients to a rocks glass and fill with ice. Stir briefly and garnish with a lemon twist.
