Maple Bacon Brie Bites

From Delish with a twist by me --this was supposed to be a whole wheel of brie but instead I changed it to Brie Bites -- see the Cranberry brie bite recipe on my website -first is the recipe I made and below find it as Delish wanted it to be --which I am sure would be perfect as well!

(8-oz.) tube crescent dough

Cooking spray, for pan

Flour, for surface
1 oz. (8-oz.) wheel brie
8 slices of bacon chopped
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 T chopped pecans

  1. Preheat oven to 375° and grease a mini muffin tin with cooking spray. On a lightly floured surface, roll out crescent dough, and pinch together seams. Cut into 24 squares. Place squares into muffin tin slots.
  2. Cut brie into small pieces and place inside the crescent dough. Top with chopped bacon that has been combined with the maple syrup and some chopped pecans.
  3. Bake until the crescent pastry is golden, about 15 minutes.
